About Ringly

What is Ringly?

Ringly creates beautiful smart jewelry and accessories that keep you effortlessly connected to the people, messages, and notifications that are most important to you. Our core belief is that technology can be more stylishly and discreetly integrated into our lives.

How do Ringly products work?

We have built a simple solution so that women will never have to worry about missing an important message because their phone was hidden in the bottom of their bag or purse. Ringly connects to your phone so you can receive subtle notifications about what’s most important to you. Through the Ringly app, you can set custom color and vibration patterns for different types of notifications.

Can my Ringly be resized by a jeweler?

We do not recommend have a jeweler resize any Ringly product as it would cause damage to the plating.

What size are the gemstones?

The gemstones are 14×19mm, approximately the size of an almond.

Where are Ringly’s gemstones sourced?

Ringly’s stones are sourced from around the world. We are committed to providing our customers with ethically mined gemstones. Ringly only works with suppliers that state they use conflict free stones and responsible sourcing.

Is Ringly water-proof? Can I wash my hands while I’m wearing it?

Ringly is not water-proof, but is splash-proof. We don’t recommend getting it soaking wet so you should avoid activities such as swimming, showering, or washing dishes. It should not be fully submerged in water, but it can tolerate a splash, such as when you wash your hands.

I have a nickel allergy. Can I wear Ringly?

You’re in luck! Our Aries and Libra Collection are nickel-free.

However, our Classic Collection does contain trace amounts of nickel in the ring base, but is heavily plated with 18K matte gold. By industry standards this nickel level is considered "low," but we would not recommend this collection for anyone with a nickel allergy. We are currently working towards a nickel-free gold-plated collection, so sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know of any updates.

Is my Ringly protected under warranty?

Ringly smart products come with a 1-year limited warranty. This warranty covers any technical defects or malfunctions in your Ringly jewelry. This warranty lasts for one year from shipment of a purchase from an official retailer. Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the product. Our warranty policy warrants our products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

What sizes are available?

Ringly is available in US ring sizes 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. For sizing help, see our sizing guide.

What if I don’t see my ring size?

Please email us at support@ringly.com with your size request. We add new sizes based on customer demand. Also, sign up for our newsletter and follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for news of new product launches and updates.

Is there any difference between the types of rings?

Style-wise, absolutely! Functionally, the rings are the same: all styles offer customized notifications through discrete light and vibration patterns.

How does my Ringly ring charge?

Your Ringly comes in its very own ring box that doubles as a charger. Place your ring in its box, and plug into a USB outlet to start charging. Your Ringly will blink red while charging, and should take 4 hours to fully charge. The ring box does have its own battery that should last over a week without needing to plug it in, but we recommend you plug it in regularly with the supplied micro-USB cable to ensure it has a charge.

How long does the battery last?

Depending on usage, your Ringly ring should last 24–48 hours before needing to be recharged.

Can the battery be replaced?

The battery in your Ringly is not replaceable, but the charger box can be replaced if you are encountering difficulties with charging.

The Ringly Aries Bracelet

What sizes are available?

The Ringly Aries bracelet is available in S/M and M/L, and opens on a hinge.

  • S/M: 6.5 inches (circumference)
  • M/L: 7.5 inches (circumference)

For sizing, we recommend using a tape measure and measuring the circumference of your wrist. Add a 1/2 inch to your measurement to allow for slack. Voila, you have your size!

What is my Ringly Aries bracelet made of?

Your Ringly Aries bracelet is crafted with a semi-precious gemstone set in stainless steel, and is available with 14k gold plating or a polished stainless steel finish. In addition, there are over 40 components that make up the tech inside the bracelet. How’s that for discreet?

How does my bracelet charge?

Your bracelet comes with a custom USB charger; plug into a USB outlet to start charging.

How long does the battery last?

Depending on usage, your Ringly bracelet should last 24–48 hours before needing to be recharged.

Can the battery be replaced?

The battery in your bracelet is not replaceable, but the custom USB charger can be replaced if you are encountering difficulties with charging.

Do you need to be in range of your phone for your steps be counted?

No, you don’t! Your bracelet can store up to two days of step tracking data without needing to sync with your phone.

Using Your Ringly

What phone platforms and devices are supported?

Ringly supports both iOS and Android users.


  • iPhone 5 and newer
  • Must run iOS 8 or above


  • Android devices running Android 4.3 or above

Ringly does not currently support Windows Phone or Blackberry devices.

Where can I download the Ringly app?

The Ringly app is available for free in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Will Ringly work without a phone?

Ringly will also work with supported tablets, but without a phone or tablet, Ringly is simply a stylish accessory!

How do I set up my Ringly?

Open the Ringly app, tap Connect, select your Ringly and confirm the pairing with your device. Please see our setup guide at ringly.com/setup for more details.

What is the range of communication between Ringly and my mobile device?

It depends on a number of factors, but on average Ringly will work 20-30 feet from your phone.

What apps can my Ringly connect with?

Ringly is now integrated with over 100 apps, including Uber, Slack, WhatsApp, eBay, Snapchat, Net-a-Porter, Bumble, Poshmark, and many more. We’re always adding more apps, so send us your suggestions to support@ringly.com.

Is using the Ringly secure?

Absolutely. Ringly uses industry standard encryption to keep your data safe and secure. The Ringly app will receive the notifications, but no data or content is stored or sent to a third party.

Can my Ringly’s functionality be updated after I receive it?

Yes, both the products and the app will be updated periodically with additional features and improvements.

Payments, Shipping, Returns and Exchanges

I don’t have a credit card. Do you accept debit cards, PayPal or Bitcoin?

We accept Ringly digital and physical gift cards along with debit and credit Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Diner’s Club, and Discover through our website. Please contact us at support@ringly.com if you’d like to purchase with Paypal, Bitcoin, or another method.

Can I update my shipping address after I have purchased my Ringly?

If your order has not yet shipped, you may update your shipping address by visiting ringly.com/orders and entering your confirmation number. If you encounter any difficulties, please contact us support@ringly.com.

How safe is your payment platform? Do you store credit card details?

All transactions are encrypted with 128-bit SSL. We use Stripe, an industry-standard credit card processing service, to process online payments, so Ringly never stores your credit card details.

Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor, which has in turn been certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider, the most stringent level of certification available. You can confirm Stripe’s certification in Visa’s registry of service providers. Stripe is also a participant in the PCI Security Standards Council.

I did not receive my order confirmation. Did my order get through?

Order confirmation emails will come from support@ringly.com, and sometimes find their way into spam folders. We recommend checking there first, but if no luck please email us at support@ringly.com and we’ll figure out what went wrong!

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to the United States, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom. We hope to add more countries in the future, so make sure to check back or sign up for our newsletter for future updates.

We’ve also partnered with some amazing retailers that ship globally, so they can show you some Ringly love if your country isn’t on the list. Drop us a line at support@ringly.com, and we’ll point you in the right direction.

When will my order ship?

For all items that are in stock, here’s how it works: you order, we process, and then we ship. Processing can take 1 to 2 business days and orders placed after 11am ET are processed on the next business day. You’ll receive an email from us with your tracking number once your package ships. Time to celebrate!

For domestic orders, standard shipping is handled by USPS and expedited UPS 2-Day Air is available for an additional $20.

For orders to Canada, Mexico, and the UK, shipping options will depend on your location and will be displayed at checkout.

Please note, UPS expedited orders cannot ship to PO boxes.

Why won’t my discount code work to pre-order a bracelet?

Discount codes are only applicable to full priced merchandise. Since the bracelets are already available at a special pre-order price, no other discounts can be applied.

When will my pre-order ship?

If you’ve placed a pre-order, please check your order confirmation email for details on when your item will ship. If you have any additional questions, please email us at support@ringly.com.

What’s your return policy?

We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of your delivery, minus shipping costs. Please ensure that your Ringly is returned to us unused and in its original condition.

Free ground shipping is offered for all U.S. returns and exchanges, but we are not able to provide complimentary shipping for international returns and exchanges. Customs duties and taxes are non-refundable through Ringly.
